Our goal for every one of our projects is to have a happy client. We’re particularly excited  when our past clients take the time to acknowledge their satisfaction by providing us with their testimonials.

“Themis and reBuild were fantastic to work with. We heard so many horror stories about projects that ended up double the timeline and double the price; Themis, Peter and their team kept those nightmares from being our reality. Thanks to their careful management, we ended up finishing the project right on budget and nearly on time – seemingly unheard of in New York City renovations. Even more vital, Themis was as concerned as we were about the small details along the way, and as a result, we ended up with high-quality construction. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience and final product!”

“The reBuild team did a great job for the renovation of my landmark townhouse in Prospect Lefferts. Hired them from the beginning of the project, they assisted enormously in setting up the expectations, exploring alternate solutions and studying their impact both on the space functionality and the overall budget. Themis and his team successfully managed to lead the construction and move the project ahead without surprises, and at the end – most importantly- completed it on the agreed limited budget, and on schedule. By the way: their kitchen cabinet maker was phenomenal.  I highly recommend them.”

“I was more than pleased with reBUILD’s work at our apartment. Very challenging in its scope, the work included an insertion of a connecting stairway between the two floors, as well as a new exterior steel deck. Because it’s a historic building, we had to get approvals not only from the Building Department, but also from the Landmarks Preservation Commission.  Themis and his team were very knowledgeable to the process, and led the job efficiently and effectively – from the beginning to the end. The finished work looks really great, and it was overall a very pleasant experience!”

“For “Bookstop” I needed someone that could find very creative solutions within a very tight budget, and Themis did beyond expectations! His architectural concept was very successful in creating something new and interesting using very little resources.

More specifically, for me the goal was to merge two spaces into one, to be converted into a new bookstore. Because of the very tight budget the moves had to be very strategic, but also impactful. What he did was to propose a quite simple, custom-designed ceiling that extended throughout the space and gave the interior a unique identity. The ceiling system was designed in such a way that it could be fabricated from very simple materials, and installed easily- to keep the overall cost low. And it succeeded! Themis used the same approach with the other elements of the space – A/C, façade, furniture etc. Overall I was very happy with his involvement. He’s great to work with, so I highly recommend him! “

“Themis and Jimmy and team did a great job on my condo repair and renovation in Long Island City.  The work was done on time and professionally, and correspondence was great.  Very accommodating and sensitive to the building’s renovation policies.  Highly recommended!”

” We had rebuild workshop design/build our kitchen and had an extremely positive experience. Themis, the owner of reBUILD is super knowledgeable, always easy to reach, has great ideas, good taste, patient, and an all around nice person to work with. His team / builders did very precise and clean work. Furthermore they were efficient and really stuck to their schedule and budget. I HIGHLY recommend them! Our kitchen turned out great and is our favorite room in our apt. ”

It was a pleasure hiring Themis’s firm to renovate our non-landmarked 16′ wide brownstone – including blowing out the rear wall of the kitchen, adding a window to a bathroom, a new deck, and gut renovation of the top floor moving a bathroom and raising ceilings. He is punctual, pragmatic, creative, resourceful, quick to respond to emails, and has a spooky ability to get workmen to show up. He loves to get things done, communicates clearly through words and sketches, and will cheerfully scramble up on a ladder to demonstrate how to do something, like some kind of nimble Greek mountain goat. We are so lucky to have found him and we love our beautiful and airy new house.
